Description

Corrosion Resistant Ceramic Parts are high-purity 3Y zirconia components for equipment exposed to chemically active process media. Applications include chemical equipment, photovoltaic acid and alkali systems, textile and chemical-fiber machinery, automation assemblies and fluid-transport systems where the part sits in or near the corrosive environment.

Core Advantages

Chemical Service up to 1400°C

The standard specification combines acid and alkali resistance with a maximum temperature of 1400°C. In hot chemical zones, the ceramic avoids the rapid corrosion, oxidation scale and dimensional loss that can develop when exposed metal reacts with the process medium.

Wear Resistance in Abrasive Chemical Media

High hardness and wear resistance are useful when corrosion is accompanied by abrasion. If a liquid contains suspended particles or the part also has a sliding contact surface, the same ceramic working zone can handle both chemical attack and mechanical surface loss.

1200–1400 MPa Flexural Strength

Flexural strength is 1200–1400 MPa. In pump-side structures, process fixtures and mounted fluid components, the zirconia can serve as a load-bearing part when bending stress is present, not only as a passive corrosion liner.

Customization

  • Corrosion-Grade Material

High-purity 3Y zirconia is standard. Other corrosion-resistant ceramic formulations or customer-supplied materials can be used when the process medium or drawing specifies another grade.

  • Integrated and Irregular Geometry

Irregular corrosion-resistant structures and integrated molded parts can be produced to drawing. Geometry can be arranged around flow passages, sleeves, rings, supports and non-standard mounting details.

  • Sealing and Flow-Surface Machining

Precision grinding and polishing can be combined with drilling, slotting and sealing-surface machining. Finishing is concentrated on the faces and passages that contact the process medium or mate with a seal.

Quality Control

The drawing or confirmed sample sets the acceptance basis before finishing. After sintering, sealing edges, flow-path geometry and mounting sections are checked for deformation, cracks and chips that could affect the finished interface.

Dimensional inspection covers sealing faces, bores, slots, mating dimensions and exposed working surfaces. A chipped edge is treated as a functional defect when it could form a leak or bypass path, even if the ceramic material itself remains chemically resistant.

Finished parts receive 100% inspection before packing, and third-party inspection can be included when required. Polished sealing and contact surfaces are protected in the package so the inspected finish is not damaged during shipment.

FAQ

Q: What is the lead time for custom Corrosion Resistant Ceramic Parts?

A: It depends on order quantity and customer approval timing.

Q: Which shipping terms are supported?

A: EXW, FOB and DDP can be arranged according to the contract.

Q: Can mixed specifications be combined in one Corrosion Resistant Ceramic Parts order?

A: Yes.

Q: Do the parts require an anti-corrosion coating?

A: No. The ceramic surface provides the corrosion barrier without a metal coating.
