Zirconia Ceramic Components are structural parts made from high-purity 3Y zirconia for mechanical support and load-bearing use. Typical installations include automation equipment, heavy-load transmission systems, robot assemblies, textile machinery and positioning mechanisms where the ceramic part works as part of the structure.
Core Advantages
1200–1400 MPa Flexural Strength
Flexural strength is 1200–1400 MPa. This gives supports, drive assemblies and loaded positioning parts useful bending-load capacity without requiring the larger sections often associated with more brittle ceramic grades.
Fracture Toughness for Impact and Edge Loading
3Y zirconia provides both structural strength and fracture toughness. Around shoulders, thin edges, press-fit areas and robot parts that see occasional shock, this helps limit the growth of small chips or local stress concentrations into larger fractures.
Low-Friction Wear Behavior
The material has low-friction, wear-resistant behavior. On continuously moving guide faces, supports and transmission contact points, it resists rapid scoring and material loss, which helps preserve the intended contact geometry over repeated cycles.
Customization
- Material Grade
High-purity 3Y zirconia is standard. Toughened or heavy-load formulations can be selected when the drawing needs a different balance between structural strength and fracture resistance.
- Structural Geometry
Non-standard supports, sleeves, blocks, stepped sections and irregular load-bearing parts can be made to drawing or sample. Local bosses, recesses, shoulders and multi-feature profiles can be incorporated into the geometry.
- Machining Scope
Post-sintering work includes precision grinding, drilling, slotting and structural surface machining. Bores, locating faces, mounting interfaces and working surfaces are finished according to the needs of the assembly.

Quality Control
The released structural drawing or confirmed sample sets the acceptance criteria. After sintering, parts are checked for distortion, cracks and edge damage, especially in load-bearing sections and areas that will later be finish-machined.
Dimensional checks cover support faces, mounting interfaces, bore and slot positions, locating features and alignment geometry. Measurement is selected for the actual feature and tolerance rather than relying on overall size or appearance alone.
Finished components are inspected before packing. Third-party inspection can be included when specified, and the accepted requirement and inspection result remain traceable to the relevant production batch and shipment.

Q: Which shipping terms are available?
A: EXW, FOB and DDP can be arranged according to the contract.
Q: What is the lead time for custom Zirconia Ceramic Components?
A: It depends on order quantity and customer approval timing.
Q: Are zirconia structural components electrically insulating?
A: Yes. Standard zirconia is an electrical insulator.
Q: Is protective metal plating required for corrosion resistance?
A: No. The ceramic body itself provides the corrosion-resistant surface.
