Precision Ceramic Parts are high-purity 3Y zirconia components made for compact machine interfaces that require accurate finishing. They are used in photovoltaic equipment, automation systems, industrial robots, medical precision instruments and textile machinery as positioning, guiding or moving elements.
Core Advantages
Low Thermal Expansion with Smooth Finished Surfaces
These parts combine low thermal expansion with a smooth surface after precision finishing. Where the component moves repeatedly or sees temperature change, this helps limit fit variation and reduces abrupt interaction along the ceramic contact track.
1200–1400 MPa Flexural Strength
Flexural strength is 1200–1400 MPa. Compact shoulders, narrow sections and reciprocating parts can carry bending load with more margin than more brittle oxide ceramics, while reducing the likelihood of fracture starting at an edge.
Thermal and Corrosion Range to 1400°C
Standard grades are suitable for service up to 1400°C and resist acids and alkalis. They can remain in heated equipment or assemblies exposed to cleaning chemicals without metal oxidation or corrosion products changing the interface.
Customization
- Material Formulation
High-purity 3Y zirconia is standard. Toughened or wear-resistant formulations can be chosen when the project calls for a different mechanical-property balance.
- Complex Geometry
Drawings can specify curved surfaces, integrated structures and compact non-standard parts. Local steps, recesses, shoulders and combined functional features can be built into the geometry.
- Precision Finishing
Precision grinding, polishing, micro-hole machining, slotting, chamfering and mirror polishing are available. The finishing sequence depends on the specified working surface and whether each feature can be reached during machining.

Quality Control
Sintered blanks are checked for deformation, cracks and edge damage before grinding or polishing. On curved or compact parts, the functional datum is reviewed early so firing distortion does not carry into the finishing stage.
After machining, dimensional fit and surface condition are checked as separate items. Small openings, recesses, finished contact zones and polished surfaces are examined for geometry, chips and local defects that could interfere with assembly or motion.
Every finished part receives 100% final inspection before packing for the released dimensions, appearance, quantity and cleanliness. Anything outside the agreed requirement is separated before shipment.
