Description

A ceramic yarn guide is a zirconia part that controls yarn direction through textile machinery. It is used in winding equipment, bobbin and rewinding machines, spinning lines, automatic yarn feeding systems, and general yarn-routing assemblies.

Core Advantages

Smooth Low-Friction Yarn Path

The bore or groove that contacts the yarn is precision finished for a smooth running path. During continuous winding or feeding at speed, lower friction at the guide reduces yarn abrasion and heat at the contact point.

1100-1300 MPa Strength Around Small-Radius Sections

The 3Y zirconia guide is listed at 1100-1300 MPa flexural strength. Compact eyelets and narrow groove sections can concentrate yarn tension and machine vibration around a small radius, and the stronger ceramic body gives these areas more resistance to cracking.

Rust-Free Contact Surface in Humid Textile Areas

Zirconia does not form red rust in humid or mildly corrosive textile environments. Moisture, lint, or process residue can reach the yarn path without creating corrosion roughness or oxide scale on the contact surface.

Customization

  • Aperture

Round-hole, special aperture, and yarn-routing openings produced to the required yarn path.

  • Groove Structure

Straight, curved, open, and application-specific guide grooves machined from drawings or samples.

  • Installation Features

Outer contour, locating faces, and mounting dimensions produced for the target textile-machine holder.

Quality Control

The yarn-contact bore and groove are the main inspection surfaces. After finishing, they are checked for chips, scratches, sharp projections, and discontinuities that could touch or catch the running yarn.

Aperture position, outer contour, locating faces, and mounting dimensions are measured against the released drawing or sample. Small openings and edge transitions are checked optically when direct contact measurement may miss the actual yarn-contact condition.

Each finished guide is inspected before packing for released dimensions, cleanliness, and accepted quantity. The guides are separated in the package so the inspected bore or groove is not damaged by ceramic-to-ceramic contact.

FAQ

Q: How are ceramic yarn guides packaged?

A: Guide surfaces are separated and protected according to geometry and shipment method.

Q: What is the MOQ for ceramic yarn guides?

A: There is no fixed MOQ; quantity and pricing are agreed per order.

Q: What should be checked if yarn breakage increases after a guide change?

A: Check yarn tension, machine speed, wrap angle, guide alignment, and contamination.

Q: Does yarn type affect ceramic guide selection?

A: Yes. Yarn material, denier, speed, and tension should be considered when selecting the guide.
