Description

Ceramic Guide Parts include alumina or zirconia thread guides, wire guides, guide sleeves, and related components. They are used in textile machinery, chemical-fiber equipment, cable production, and automation systems where yarn, fiber, or wire runs continuously over a ceramic contact path.

Core Advantages

Smooth Contact Surface

Working-surface roughness is specified at <=0.2 µm Ra. A smooth guide surface reduces abrasive scratching and sharp local contact at high-speed yarn, fiber, or wire contact points.

Controlled Groove and Hole Position

Dimensional accuracy is specified at ±0.01 to ±0.03 mm. Guide holes and grooves can therefore hold the intended running path through adjacent rollers, tensioners, or feed mechanisms.

Hardness for Continuous Sliding Contact

Hardness is specified at HV 1300-1600, with density of 3.8-6.0 g/cm³. On continuously loaded guide surfaces, this hardness limits groove enlargement and keeps the running profile closer to its original geometry.

Customization

  • Guide Profile

V-grooves, U-grooves, round holes, and special cross-sections can be produced to the confirmed product drawing.

  • Groove and Hole Geometry

Groove profile, opening size, radii, and local guide geometry can be adjusted to the yarn, fiber, or wire path.

  • Contact-Zone Finishing

Selected grooves, holes, and guide-contact surfaces can be ground or polished according to the required running path.

Quality Control

After forming and sintering, guide parts are checked for cracks, edge chips, distortion, and defects around holes or grooves. Pieces that could damage the moving yarn or wire are removed before polishing or final finishing.

Inspection covers groove contour, guide-hole geometry, dimensional position, and working-surface roughness. The contact path is checked separately from mounting dimensions so both guidance geometry and equipment fit are verified.

Before shipment, parts are cleaned and checked for appearance, quantity, and surface condition. Polished grooves and edges are separated in the package to prevent contact damage during transport.

FAQ

Q: How are ceramic guide parts packed for export?

A: Packaging is selected according to the part shape and the agreed shipment requirements, with finished guide surfaces protected from contact.

Q: Which shipping terms can you support?

A: EXW, FOB, and DDP can be arranged according to the contract.

Q: Can mirror-finish guides be produced for ultra-fine fibers below 0.5D?

A: Yes. Ra 0.05 µm mirror-finish guide surfaces can be produced for ultra-fine fibers below 0.5D.

Q: Can multiple guide models be included in one project?

A: Yes. Multiple guide models or specifications can be combined in one project.
