Description

Industrial Ceramic Components are structural ceramic parts, usually made from 3Y yttria-stabilized zirconia. They handle load-bearing, transmission, positioning and insulation duties in photovoltaic equipment, industrial automation, textile machinery, medical devices and robotic assemblies, including both moving and fixed interfaces.

Core Advantages

Controlled Fit at Precision Interfaces

Machining tolerance is ±0.01 mm as standard, while ultra-precision work can reach ±0.001 mm. This level is used on locating shoulders, mating faces and transmission interfaces where accumulated dimensional error would affect alignment with nearby metal or polymer parts.

Hard Wear Surface for Repeated Contact

Hardness is 1200–1500 HV. For guides, supports and transmission points exposed to repeated sliding or frequent contact, the hard surface slows wear at the working profile and helps the original fit remain stable in service.

Thermal and Chemical Duty Range

These components are rated for temperatures up to 1400°C and for acid and alkali exposure. They are suitable for heated or chemically exposed fixtures without the softening, rust or corrosion scale associated with many metal alternatives.

Customization

  • Material Options

3Y yttria-stabilized zirconia is the standard material. Other engineering ceramics can be used when the drawing or application calls for a different grade, and customer-supplied ceramic material can also be processed.

  • Size and Geometry

The standard dimensional range is 1–300 mm. Drawings can specify non-standard profiles, integrated forms, rings, sleeves, blocks, holes, steps, slots and other structural features within that range.

  • Machined Features and Finish

Grinding, drilling, slotting, chamfering, edge finishing and polishing can be carried out after sintering. The required operations are chosen from the finished faces, bores, contact areas and assembly interfaces identified on the released drawing.

Quality Control

The approved drawing, specification or confirmed sample is used throughout forming and sintering. Before precision finishing, the formed and sintered pieces are checked for visible forming defects, deformation, cracks and edge damage.

Final dimensional inspection covers the features that determine assembly fit, including shoulders, bores, slots, mating faces and working surfaces. Contact or optical measurement is chosen to suit the feature and tolerance; nonconforming parts are separated before release.

Before packing, every finished component receives 100% inspection for the required dimensions, appearance, quantity and cleanliness. Results are tied to the production batch and shipment, and third-party inspection can be arranged when the order requires it.
