Description

Ceramic Components are industrial parts made from alumina, zirconia, silicon nitride, or silicon carbide. They are used in machinery and equipment at wear, thermal, electrical-insulation, corrosion-exposed, positioning, or structural locations.

Core Advantages

Controlled Fit Across Forming Routes

Dimensional accuracy is specified at ±0.01 to ±0.1 mm, depending on the manufacturing process. Tolerance can be assigned to the interface that controls fit, movement, or positioning when parts made by different forming routes are assembled into equipment.

Hard Working Surfaces

The available ceramic systems cover a hardness range of HV 1200-1800. For sliding, rubbing, or particle-contact positions, the working surface can be chosen to reduce rapid wear and retain the geometry required by the surrounding assembly.

Wide Thermal Operating Envelope

The listed working-temperature range is -50 to 1800°C, depending on material. Different ceramic systems cover low-temperature service, heated process zones, and assemblies exposed to large thermal differences.

Customization

  • Body Geometry

Curved surfaces, stepped profiles, custom outlines, and other non-standard body shapes can be produced from the released drawing.

  • Mounting and Mating Features

Holes, slots, chamfers, and mounting details can be matched to the surrounding equipment interface.

  • Finishing Scope

Post-sintering work can include grinding, polishing, drilling, slotting, chamfering, and finishing of edges or mating surfaces shown on the released drawing.

Quality Control

Inspection follows the part from forming through sintering and finishing. Green and fired components are checked for forming defects, cracks, distortion, edge damage, and other conditions that could affect the final geometry.

Finished features are measured against the released drawing, with mating dimensions and exposed working surfaces checked separately where needed. The measurement method is chosen according to the geometry and tolerance of the feature.

Before shipment, inspection covers appearance, required dimensions, quantity, and cleanliness. Results are kept with the production batch so the accepted specification and shipment history remain connected.

FAQ

Q: Which shipping terms can you support?

A: EXW, FOB, and DDP can be arranged according to the contract.

Q: How are ceramic components packed?

A: Packaging is selected according to the part shape and the agreed export requirement.

Q: Are standard stock items available as well as non-standard parts?

A: Yes. Standard stock items and custom non-standard parts are both available.

Q: Do repeat orders normally ship faster than the first order?

A: Yes. Repeat-order lead times can be shorter after the approved specification is established.
