Description

Precision Ceramic covers accurately formed and machined alumina or zirconia parts made to a released drawing for industrial assemblies. They are used in photovoltaic equipment, textile and automation machinery, precision motion systems and instruments where ceramic bodies, bores, faces or contact features must fit a controlled mechanical interface.

Core Advantages

Tolerance Accuracy of ±0.01 to ±0.05 mm

Tolerance is specified from ±0.01 to ±0.05 mm. Bores, shoulders, thicknesses and mating faces can be finished to the fit required by the assembly instead of treating the ceramic as a loose-fit refractory component.

Hardness Range of 1200–1600 HV

Hardness is 1200–1600 HV. Sliding guides, wear faces and repeated-contact features resist indentation and abrasive loss, helping the finished profile stay closer to its original geometry over extended machine cycling.

Working Temperature of 1600–1800°C

Maximum working temperature is 1600–1800°C depending on the ceramic selected. This range covers furnace-adjacent fixtures, thermal-process assemblies and hot machine parts operating beyond the practical temperature range of many metals and polymers.

Customization

  • Material Type

Available material families are alumina ceramic and zirconia ceramic. Selection follows the released drawing and service conditions rather than applying one grade to every precision part.

  • Material Property Range

Across the listed alumina and zirconia options, density is 3.6–6.0 g/cm³ and flexural strength is 300–1200 MPa. The grade can be matched to the mechanical duty and section of the component.

  • Geometry and Finish

Parts can be formed first, then ground, drilled, slotted or polished after sintering. Machining covers the bores, steps, flat faces, contact tracks and other finished features defined by the drawing.

Quality Control

Production is checked against both the released drawing and the selected ceramic specification. Material requirements and the dimensions that determine final assembly fit are treated as part of the same acceptance basis.

Finished bores, faces, slots, thicknesses and mating features are measured from the drawing datums, using contact or optical methods where they suit the geometry. Surface and edge condition are checked separately from dimensional acceptance.

All finished Precision Ceramic parts receive a 100% final inspection, and third-party inspection is accepted. Appearance, required dimensions, quantity and cleanliness are confirmed before packing.
